Leadership Roster

From our launch in May '08 until Feb '09, the Toronto Cyclists Union has been an entirely volunteer run organisation.

In March '09, we hired our first paid staff member, Yvonne Bambrick, now Directory of Communications and Events. In June 2010 we hired Andrea Garcia as Director of Advocacy and Operations. These important organisational milestones were made possible through the financial support of our over-900 member strong, and growing, collective with additional funding support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

With our organisational leaders in place, and an expanded and active Board of Directors, we have developed and formalised a committee structure to help guide and manage bike union events, governance, advocacy, membership, communications, IT, finance and outreach.
