The bikeChain: University of Toronto's Bicycle User Group

The bikeChain is a new student initiative aimed at promoting and connecting cycling culture at the University of Toronto.

The bikeChain will begin operations in September 2005 functioning as a self-service education facility for bicycle repairs. The facility will offer a professional tool set for students, staff and faculty to use with the assistance of trained staff and volunteers. Use of the tools will be a free service to all members of the University of Toronto community. The facility will also function as an educational facility and a hub to connect riders on campus.

The recently established University of Toronto Sustainability Office officially sponsors the bikeChain. To learn more about the Sustainability Office and other related projects visit: www.sustainability.utoronto.ca
