Update: Annette Street

Submitted by rick on 18 October, 2008 - 14:26

The many deputants that spoke at the last Public Works meeting were unable to persuade the councillors to put bike lanes on Annette, but there is still a chance at the next Council meeting (Oct 29-30), and your email can make a difference!

Here are more complete instructions from the amazing community group world19:

  1. Send an email to Marilyn Toft <mtoft@toronto.ca>, the Manager of Council Secretariat Support
  2. Copy your message to Adrian Heaps <councillor_heaps@toronto.ca>, David Miller <mayor_miller@toronto.ca>, World19 <bikes@world19.com>, and your local councillor
  3. Subject line: "2008 Bikeway Network Program - Annette Street"
  4. Indicate you are writing in reference to item number PW19.8, and
request that the clerk's office forward your letter electronically to
    all councillors

The sooner this can be sent out, the better - but any time before the Council meeting of October 29 and 30. For more information about Annette Street, and its important place in Toronto's bike plan, visit World19.
