Introducing Refer-a-Rider!  Your chance to recruit members and win great prizes!

From August to October, we're calling on our 1,500+ members to help drive us toward the 2,500 member mark.  We're asking you to recruit your friends, family and colleagues as members of the bike union.  In exchange, we've lined up fantastic prizes from several of our partners.

What’s in it for me?

Our top recruiter will win a Kona cargo bike. Our second place recruiter will walk away with a Linus bike and our third place recruiter will win an Autoshare family membership and driving credit valued at $200.

And there’s more! For each new member you recruit, your name will be entered and re-entered into a raffle to win other great prizes! We’ll also give you a shout-out on Twitter and/or Facebook with every recruit.

Sign Me Up!

Signing up for Refer-a-Rider is easy.  Just create a campaign page, tell your friends, family and colleagues about it and ask them to join by sending them your campaign page.  For a detailed walk through on setting up your page, please visit our Getting Started page.

How Does It Work?

Your campaign page tracks the number of members you recruit.  This will allow you to compare your progress to our other members participating in Refer-a-Rider. The main page also displays a live tally of our top three recruiters and how many members they have recruited through their campaign page. This will give you an idea of how many more members you should recruit to get in or stay in the top three! At the end of the Refer-a-Rider contest, in October, we’ll announce the winners!

If each of our members recruited just one member, we'd double in size.  So please, create a campaign page and start telling your friends and family why the bike union matters to you.  Together, let's create safer streets across Toronto!
