Parkdale Community Legal Services

Parkdale Community Legal Services in Toronto's west end was home to one of the original BUGs and is now looking to revitalize the program among the members of our clinic. Many of our 45 staff & students are dedicated cyclists, commuting to work on Toronto's busy streets and touring the area's bikepaths, greater Ontario, and the World on bikes during our time off. Thus far all we do is promote cycling within the clinic and community, and check out each other's cool bikes. We are looking to become more active in the future.

Intelliware

Intelliware specializes in building custom business software and is located adjacent to High Park at the corner of Bloor St. West and Keele St. We have been an active BUG member since 2002 and in 2005 we won the Bicycle Friendly Business Award for Best Small Business. We have a designated bike parking area in the main part of our office that is very secure and easily accessible. In addition, employees have access to personal lockers and a shower/change room facility. A lunch room, casual dress code and location near the Keele Subway also help to encourage commuting by bike.
