Oriole Park Reconstruction Report

Submitted by john.taranu on 31 August, 2010 - 23:43

If you live and travel through the Yonge and Davisville area, you may know that the City has started the rebuild of Oriole Park for the Neshama Playground project, blocking the mixed-use trails that cross the park.

Oriole Park is more than just a recreational park; it is a major transit corridor for bike and pedestrian traffic in the neighbourhood. It provides connections between Yonge St and the residential area south of the Beltline trail, and contains Bike Route 35, one of the few north-south bike routes in Toronto.

TCU22 has prepared a report outlining the issues around the Oriole Park reconstruction, available now at: Oriole Park Reconstruction Report.
