Thank you for making our community consultation meeting a success!
Thank you to everyone who braved the summer thunderstorms this Tuesday June 22 to come out to our first ever community consultation meeting! At the meeting we were happy to welcome Dave Dunn and Jesse Demb from the City of Toronto who presented on the planned cycling infrastructure in the Midtown area, other City of Toronto cycling initiatives like the Bike Share program, and some of the complexities around securing bicycle parking locations in urban areas. Everyone present helped fill out our in-depth cycling survey for Ward 22, and afterwards we had a spirited discussion around cycling issues in the ward. Were you unable to make it to the meeting but still want to get involved? Do you know any other cyclists in the ward who would like to fill out the survey? Do you want to join our mailing list? Email us at ward22@bikeunion.to or come out to our next meeting on June 22 at the Twisted Kilt pub!
