I just put in a request with the City for post and ring bike stands along the northern side of Bloor Street West, from Quebec to Parkview Gardens. Currently, if you want to go to Cafe Novo or MacKenzies, there is no place to lock up your bike. The closest place is the Quebec exit of the High Park Subway, or to the west, the bike posts near System Fitness and the UPS store. Not sure why there haven't been posts there before, as lots of people go to those establishments.
