From our launch in May '08 until Feb '08, the Toronto Cyclists Union has been an entirely volunteer run organisation. 

In March '09, we hired our first paid staff member, Executive Director, Yvonne Bambrick.  This important organisational milestone was made possible through the financial support of our 820 member strong, and growing, collective.

With our organisational leader now in place, we have developed and formalised a committee structure to help guide and manage bike union events, governance, advocacy, membership, communications, IT, finance and outreach.
