Lawrence Avenue East

Submitted by rick on 12 November, 2008 - 22:52

Tonight, the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee (PWIC) adopted a report to put bike lanes on Lawrence Ave. E., from Victoria Park Ave. to Rouge Hills Drive - a stretch of road 16.1 km long!

We are still awaiting more information about the details of this unexpected good news, and it still needs final approval from Council. But if this passes, it will mean over 50 km. of bike lanes approved in 2008!
