2009 Toronto Bike Awards - Jan 19th!!

The bike union is excited to once again be hosting the Toronto Bike Awards, 2009 and we invite you to join us on January 19th, 2010!
Gladstone Hotel Ballroom
1214 Queen St. W, Toronto
Doors at 6:30pm - Show starts at 7:00pm sharp.
Last year was a HUGE success, and tons of fun - you don't want to
miss this!! Arrive early so you don't miss out, space is limited...

For many years now the City of Toronto has been handing out Bicycle Friendly Business Awards to recognize businesses that encourage and support cycling. Once again this year, in celebration of Bike Winter,
the Toronto Cyclists Union will partner with the City to co-present the
BFBA's, and present our very own Golden Spoke Awards. The awards will
celebrate some of the bike-positive things/people currently happening in our city.
Other cycling community award presenters will include, Toronto
Coalition for Active Transportation, I Bike TO, and the Bike Pirates.
$10 or PWYC for bike union members
$15 for non-members
(a fundraiser for the Toronto Cyclists Union)
- Doors open at 6:30pm, Cash Bar, nibbles provided
- Performance by Evalyn Parry at 7:00 - sharp
- BFBA's 7:45 to 8:20
- Saucy Bike Mechanic skit at 8:30
- Golden Spoke Awards 8:45 - 9:00
- Community Awards 9:00 - 9:30pm
- DJ', GoldSprints Bike races, and Dancing from 9:30pm!
Featuring:
7pm sharp - Very special, Not-to-be-missed excerpt from SPIN, written and performed by Evalyn Parry, with Brad Hart on Bike.
