Free Bike Safety check Sat & Sun - Visit our Bicycle Service Station @ two street festivals!

Submitted by yvonne on 23 July, 2010 - 00:00

The bike union's Bicycle Service Station (BSS) will be set up at not one, but two street festivals this weekend!!  Stop by to say hello and get a copy of our Toronto Cyclists Handbook available in 17 languages, a free Toronto Bike Map, and free bike safety check and diagnostic from one of the skilled mechanics we'll be partnered with. Look for our bright orange tent!

We'll be hanging out with the crew from Sweet Pete's bike shop (1204 Bloor St. W) at the New Bloor Festival this Saturday July 24th from 1 to 6PM, along with our Partnership for Integration and Sustainable Transportation colleagues.

You'll also be able to find us at Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market on Sunday July 25th from 12 to 7pm - near Bikes on Wheels at 309 Augusta.  Our bike mechanic partner for this BSS will be the Bike Pirates!

Hope to see you in the streets this weekend if you're in town :)
